Get involved - Support Music Fund with a financial donation
Give Music A Chance!

The organization of our projects costs huge sums of money, despite the efforts of many enthusiastic volunteers. The shipment of instruments (in optimum conditions), the repair work needed and the setting up of workshops and master classes is not without cost. This is why Music Fund is actively fundraising.

With your support, a young musician or restorer will be able to live out his or her passion in far better conditions!

One can link a donation to a specific action of Music Fund, a form of "patronship":
 1. patronship of instruments:
helping Music Fund to finance the repair and then send an instrument to one of our partnerschools in the Middle East or Africa: the average cost of repairing + sending a small instrument (not the pianos) is evaluated to be around 150 Euro. by donating this sum, a donor could therefor be nominated to be the 'patron' of a specific music instrument; we could - as we propose to those donating instruments - propose this patron to find out about the journey this particular instrument is making and in which music school it ends up and what this school is all about. as we know our partners well and continue to work with them, we can provide this information and create such bridges between donors and the beneficiaries.

2. patronship of students:
helping us to finance the hosting of a student from Africa or the Middle East in Europe for an internship of 3 months during which he or she starts to learn to repair music instruments: the average cost of a 3 month internship of one student in a luthier-workshop in Europe is about 50 Euro per day (travel costs, per diems, insurance, visa-costs, housing, also including some of the costs involved in sending an instrument-expert for an iniation workshop before in the Middle East or Africa). the total costs of hosting a student during 3 months in Europe is 4500 Euro.
