Director John Turest-Swartz is a music ethnologist and does a very particular job on musical expressions in the country of the Cape. He combines this work of archiving with initiatives to support local musicians in small villages on the country. Music Fund is now investigating a potential partnership with his association from 2008.
 

Soweto: Melodi Music Trust and Ensemble

This small music school in Soweto is directed by the musician Nimrod Moloto and has been built around the family of wind instruments. Music Fund has donated the school a beautiful bassoon thanks to the intervention of the Bassoon factory Vonk (Maarten Vonk, Amersfoort, www.fagot.nl) and a couple of other wind instruments, and is now investigating a potential partnership from 2008.
 
It is thanks to all its volunteers that Music Fund has the means to realize its goals. Their energy and their good-will guarantee or have guaranteed in the past the cement of the organization.
