| Projects - Instrument Funds - Organisation |
The first major collection of musical instruments was organized by Music Fund itself in 2005. Since then, the collections have been organized by others on behalf of Music Fund. Tens of collections are held each year across various European countries. After collecting the musical instruments in different countries in Europe, the instruments are taken by Music Fund to instrument builders and restorers, who make sure that the condition and value of each instrument is carefully assessed before any repair work is undertaken, when needed. Every partner has specific needs. Music Fund assesses the requirements and strives to fulfil them as well as possible. By organizing regular collections, Music Fund aims to maintain a steady stock of musical instruments. By restricting the number of its partners, Music Fund can operate more effectively and support music education in the areas where the needs are the greatest. | Organisation![]() Get involvedEveryone can organise an event to collect music instruments.
